Guest Ratings & Reviews
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location in the quieter Dorsoduro area was a real bonus, keeping us away from the tourist crowds yet close to the main attractions. The rooms in the annex building were comfortable despite the inconvenience of no lift and a door opening directly to the breakfast area. The service was friendly but marred by billing errors and room setup issues. The dining options were adequate but lacking variety, and the early breakfast time didn't suit my night owl schedule.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The room, though small and lacking personality, was clean and comfortable. The service was a bit off-putting initially but improved, with helpful staff assisting in arranging water taxis and offering local recommendations. The location, near the Venetian Academy, offered a quieter, more authentic experience, away from the tourist crowds. The breakfast spread was generous, though some items were not up to par. Overall, a decent stay marred by a few issues.
The hotel has a fantastic location close to major sites, but the included breakfast was a letdown. The service was polite but had challenges due to language barriers. The setting is convenient for sightseeing but might be noisy for some. The dining is good with some variety.
The hotel had very comfortable and clean rooms, close to the reception, and we were less disturbed than expected, despite hearing overnight noises. The service was exceptional, providing a thoughtful welcome for our honeymoon, helpful recommendations, and a nice tour of the area. The location was ideal for exploring Venice easily, though keep in mind early closures. The dining experience, while continental, was tasty with sufficient choices.
The hotel offers a spacious room with a great view of the canal and is within walking distance to all attractions. However, the room smelled a bit like grandma's house and had furniture that didn't feel authentic. The service was excellent, with attentive and cheerful staff. The location is convenient for exploring Venice but the dining experience left much to be desired.
Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience. The rooms, albeit small, exuded a romantic charm with their old furnishings, making our stay feel truly Venetian. The service was top-notch, personalized with a lovely surprise for my birthday. The location was perfect, close to key attractions and vibrant areas of Venice. The dining was satisfactory, though nothing extraordinary. Overall, a lovely stay with a few minor drawbacks.
